One year after the visit of Federal Councillor Beat Jans, the Group of Multinational Enterprises (GEM) in collaboration with the Federation of French-speaking Enterprises Geneva (FER Geneva), the Canton of Geneva and the Hospice Général hosted a morning of discussions on the recruitment of refugees, particularly holders of the S permit, on January 13, 2026.
















During the graduation ceremony of the Geneva School of Economics and Management (GSEM) on 27th November 2025, Ms. Virginie Ferrier, co-head of the GEM HR Commission, presented on behalf of GEM the award for the highest overall average in the Master in Business Analytics to Mr. Hannes GUTH, who achieved an average grade of 5.59375.

GEM celebrated its 55th anniversary last night at the BFM with an exceptional evening under the theme “A World Without Borders: Utopia or Reality?”
The event brought together numerous distinguished guests and high-level speakers, offering rich and inspiring exchanges. Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin, Head of the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research (EAER), delivered a powerful message on Switzerland’s resilience.
The evening was also marked by contributions from Delphine Bachmann, State Councillor of the Canton of Geneva; Dr. Rahul Sahgal, CEO of the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce; Hubert Védrine, former French Minister of Foreign Affairs; Gilbert Ghostine, Chairman of the Board at Sandoz; Jean Viard, sociologist and essayist; and François Rohrbach, President of GEM. The event concluded with the brilliant moderation of Marie-Gabrielle Cajoly, leaving a memorable celebration.
